#26: On Theology & Writing with Nicholas Davis

There’s seemingly no lack of Christian blogs and writing ministries today. Everywhere you turn, there appears to be another upstart site hoping to gain a small sliver of the ever-increasing traffic of readers. Yet, despite the shear weight of online resources to be had, I would say there’s always room for more. There’s also more room for gospel conversation on a medium that’s largely used for more sordid forms of entertainment. Because the gospel can never be accused of being proclaimed too much or too loudly. Such is what Nicholas and I attempt to speak to in this conversation.

Today’s Guest: Nicholas Davis

It was a thrill to speak with Nicholas for this latest edition of the Ministry Minded Podcast. He’s a pastor, editor, content curator, writer, husband, and father. He’s a man of many hats. A bi-vocational minister who understands the hardships that come along with that role. In this episode, Nick and I seek to speak to the reality of the bi-vocational pastor, the common pitfalls that often ensue, and the ways one can find balance in that position. We also speak to the significance of Christian writing and offer helpful advice for other young, avid writers. I think you’re going to love this episode and find many encouraging bits on the beauty of God’s mercy that condescends to our mess.
