Faith, Depression, & Clinging to the Rumor of Grace

For the past several weeks, I have been unable to escape the incredible sermon that was delivered by Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. What caught my attention, though, was learning that Mr. Gerson delivered this sermon only a few short days after being discharged from the hospital for depression.

A Different Kind of Blog Post

Most of the time I treat this space as a platform for profound theological thought (at least that’s what I hope and think is happening) I’ve not been a “blogger” in the traditional sense, as in capturing and reiterating random thoughts and posting them.

Fully Known

What’s the greatest thing about the gospel? At first, this may seem like an esoteric question, an undeserved delineation or distinction that’s nothing more than debate-fodder for those who have nothing better to do with their time or academic sophistications.
