Editor’s Preface

The present volume is a meticulous reproduction of the 1846 edition of William Romaine’s A Full Christ for Empty Sinners. Furthermore, both the 1819 and 1846 prefaces are included for a better introduction to the work.

The volume is made up of a collection of Romaine’s “select remarks” that went unpublished in his previous works. Though brief, this work is full of incomprehensible value for the modern Christian.

No words have been added or omitted from the original edition. However, a number of Scripture references have been affixed to the end of sentences for the benefit of the reader. Also, minor punctuation and spelling updates have been made.

May you be blessed and uplifted in the faith by the words that follow.

Brad J. Gray, editor

Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Acts 16:30–31
