The life we live is often confusing, befuddling, and perplexing. Events happen out of our control. Circumstances arise that affect us at a soul level. At times, it feels like chaos is going to win. Of anyone who’s ever live who has felt this the most acutely, the psalmist David ranks high on that list. And in Psalm 73, he utters a most honest confession for the Lord to preserve him from life’s confusion.
Fundamental to the life of any disciple is a knowledge of the Word of God. Sadly, there are scores of disciples who have a limited knowledge and understanding of the Bible. This usually stems from a truncated view of Scripture. There’s a grave need, then, in knowing what exactly the Bible has to say and whose story it tells.
